Christmas Tree Festival Winners Celebrated at Sheffield Cathedral
As the Christmas season draws to a close on Candlemas, Sheffield Cathedral celebrated the winners of its much-loved Christmas Tree Festival, which once again filled the building with colour, creativity, and community spirit.
More than 40 beautifully decorated trees transformed the Cathedral, with visitors casting nearly 5,300 votes to choose their favourites. This year’s winning trees were created by Jude and The Book Factory - an initiative begun by four-year-old Jude that continues his legacy by providing books to children in hospitals, hospices, and to those affected by cancer and grief — and Sparkle Sheffield, a parent-led charity supporting children and young people with autism and social communication difficulties.
Each organisation received a £250 prize in recognition of their inspiring work. The Cathedral extended thanks to everyone who visited, voted, and took part, helping make the festival a joyful and meaningful highlight of the Christmas season.
