The harvest is ripe for work with older people - join the Diocese of Sheffield as they explore what mission among seniors might look like. 

The Office of National Statistics project that over the next two decades the numbers of over 65s will increase by 48% compared with just 3% among the 20-64 age range. 

At this study day the Sheffield Diocesan Resource Group for Seniors will launch a new practical resource called "The Blessing of Ageing - Practical Ways of Working with the over 65s". More information on the day and the two keynote speakers can be found on the Diocese of Sheffield's website.

This event is free, refreshments are available and lunch can be pre-booked (£3 suggested voluntary contribution).

The event is open to all, but parishes and Mission Partnerships will benefit most from the day if clergy can bring a small team of people who are willing to work together to develop this mission and ministry in their churches.
