Research at the Department of Mechanical Engineering explores some of the most challenging issues today. Whether searching for opportunities for sustainability and renewable energy, developing low carbon approaches and alternative fuels, or gaining a better understanding of the mechanics within the human body to support medical discoveries, we want to improve the world around us.

Orestes is a Sheffield-based professional photographer whose iconic portrait work has been exhibited as part of both solo and group exhibitions across the city, alongside his band photography which has been featured in various magazines.
