Half Term: Rufus the Mouse Trails

Rufus the Mouse is back with his Pilgrim and Beast Trails over half term.

Look no further if you’re on the hunt for half term activities! Our Rufus the Mouse Trails come recommended by parents and grandparent and are a fun way to spend an afternoon in the city centre.

The trails explore different aspects of the life and history of the Cathedral, and they are suitable for younger as well as older children.

The Beast Trail

This trail explores the Cathedral and the many beasts hidden here. The children will get to explore our many nooks and crannies as they search for the beasts that are carved in stone and out of wood.

The Pilgrim Trail

The children will join Rufus on a pilgrimage of the Cathedral and learn more about the Christian life. The pilgrimage explores the Cathedral as a special place for many people and a site of worship for over 1,000 years.

The two trails will be available during the Cathedral’s opening hours and they are free to attend. Our Rufus backpacks can be found by the entrance.
