Sheffield Cathedral always remembers those loved and lost and this year will be no different.
Remembrance takes place in November but this year, as well as our usual Remembrance service on Sunday 14 November, we will be creating a very special Remembrance display and we need your help.
We’re inviting schools, community groups and the people of Sheffield to send us your poppies by Friday 22 October. All poppies we receive - knitted, crocheted, embroidered or paper poppies - will form part of the display.
We want to create a moving memorial through a carpet of poppies to lay across the floor of the military chapel and we can’t do it without you!
During half-term, you will be able to visit the Cathedral and create your own while you're there. There will be a station for children and families to make a poppy during their visit.
