Come to the Cathedral on Sunday at 4.00pm for the Advent Procession and gently welcome the new year with candlelight, readings and prayers.

Advent is the beginning of the Christian year. It’s a time for reflecting on the world and all its sorrows and looking forward to the coming of the Christ child who made his home amongst us in all the mess and danger. In the church we mark this lead up to Christmas with beautiful music, incense and mystery.
