We invite musicians from near and far to share their musical talent with us. All are welcome!
This Wednesday we look forward to welcoming Cheshire composer and pianist Adrian Lord. We look forward to hearing pieces from his latest collection of soothing Piano Meditations.
'His music is just sublime. You won’t be disappointed!'

BIOGRAPHY
Adrian Lord studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, and at the Colchester Institute’s School of Music. During his time at Colchester, Adrian studied composition with Alan Bullard and Christopher Ball, and won the Canon Jack Award for solo piano performance.
He has spent much of his life writing short piano pieces, and performing them in regular concerts around the United Kingdom. In 2016 he released his debut album Journey – Twelve Romances for Piano, reflecting his inspirational journey as a composer which culminated in the recording at Crear, Western Scotland. In March 2018 Adrian released his second album Sky Blue Piano, a collection of new uplifting pieces.
During the Coronavirus lockdown of 2020 Adrian gave twice-weekly performances on Facebook Live, so people could watch whilst at home, with Pianist magazine describing it as a “must-watch” online piano performance.
He has recently recorded a brand new collection of calming music, "Piano Meditations", which have just been released as a CD and sheet music book.
Adrian finds inspiration from visiting beautiful parts of the world, especially the Scottish Islands, and the English Lake District (where to date he has climbed 120 of the 214 Wainwright fells).
