Sheffield Cathedral is delighted to welcome Sheffield Bach Society for their annual concert to kick of the festive season!
Completed in just 24 days, Handel’s Messiah is one of the most glorious and popular choral works. The Sheffield Bach Choir will perform their annual rendition of Handel’s marvellous oratorio, accompanied by the National Festival Orchestra with four outstanding soloists.

Sheffield Bach Choir is one of the longest-established choirs in the city and celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2010. They are a mixed choir founded originally to revive public interest in the music of Bach. Each year they perform a range of Bach choral work and hold regular concerts at Sheffield Cathedral.
