Remember and honour your loved ones ahead of the National Day of Reflection.

We invite you to honour and remember the family, friends, neighbours and colleagues you lost during the pandemic by adding their name to our Wall of Reflection.  You can add your memories and prayers to the Wall of Reflection from 10 March to 23 March, the National Day of Reflection itself.

On the National Day of Reflection, a service will take place at 5pm with an opportunity to reflect on all that has happened over the past two years. There will be peaceful music, gentle words and an opportunity to light a candle for those you have loved and lost.

We’re joining with end-of-life charity Marie Curie, and organisations throughout the county, to celebrate the lives of the people who have died during the last two years and to support the millions of people who are grieving, whether from Covid or any other cause.  

You will also be able to leave a message in a Memorial Book. This will remain open in the Cathedral until 30 October when a public Covid Memorial Service will take place at 4pm.
