Luca Myers is the organ scholar at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge where is a first-year history undergraduate. Alongside the weekly round of services, Luca has recently taken up organ lessons with Stephen Farr. Prior to joining the choir at Sidney, Luca was organ scholar at Beverley Minster where he accompanied the various choirs regularly, including the major services of the year. In addition to regular accompaniment duties, Luca is also a keen conductor, and often works with choirs, including that of Sidney, in this regard. Most recently, Luca has given numerous recitals in Cambridge, including in the chapels of Queens’ and Caius College respectively, and has accompanied the choir of Jesus College. He looks forward to giving international solo performances later this year, including in Austria and the USA.
