This Wednesday we look forward to welcoming Pocklington School.
Pocklington School is situated 12 miles East of York and was founded in 1514. William Wilberforce was the school's most notable pupil, he attended from 1771-1776. The Music Department is vibrant with many pupils taking instrumental and singing lessons. The school has a Choir, Swing Band, Junior Choir, Junior Orchestra, Senior String Group, Brass Group, Junior Rock Band, Chamber Ensemble, String Quarter and Musical Theatre Society. The Music Department puts on many concerts annually both in school and publicly. Today's lunchtime concert features soloists from across the Lower, Middle and Upper School.
