Sheffield Bricktropolis: An Expedition of Extinction

The bricks are coming back!

This summer, you are invited to take part in 'An Expedition of Extinction' as we travel back in time with a little help from 15 amazing Dinosaur sculptures, the Brickosaurs.

The Brickosaurs trail includes a 2m tall Velociraptor and a Parasaurolophus measuring over 3m in length. The trail also includes two dinosaur ‘selfie zones’ as well as an Ankylosaur, a Pteranodon and a Megalosaur!

In addition to the fantastic sculpture trail, this year's Sheffield Bricktropolis event will also feature:

  • An Interactive Play Zone, hosted by Sheffield Cathedral, featuring Brick Pits and LEGO® Graffiti Walls to help keep the younger ones entertained.

  • The opportunity to help put together Giant Mosaics using LEGO® bricks, hosted by Sheffield Hallam University.

  • An amazing AFOL (Adult Fans of Legoexhibition on the first weekend of the two-week Sheffield Bricktropolis extravaganza, also hosted by Sheffield Hallam University.

Plus a few more surprises along the way as the Sheffield Bricktropolis fringe programme keeps the fun going for the full two weeks!
