Lunchtime Recital: Adam Parrish

  • Sheffield Cathedral Church Street Sheffield S1 1HA (map)

We invite musicians from near and far to share their musical talent with us. All are welcome!

Adam is a classically trained pianist, organist, musical director and composer. At the age of five, he first saw Rick Wakeman in concert and was inspired to pursue a musical life. In 2016, he graduated from York St John University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and is now studying for his Master’s. He currently holds Musical Director positions for a number of theatrical organisations and choirs in Greater Manchester and Sheffield, and is Organist of St Bartholomew’s Church in Chesterfield.

Adam regularly tours in the U.K. and abroad, both as a soloist and alongside other established artists such as legendary guitarist “Gordon Giltrap”. In 2020, Adam was invited to play keyboards for a charity tribute single to the late Dame Vera Lynn which featured members of Jools Holland Band, and he was commissioned by Manchester City Council to compose a symphonic work for the Halle Orchestra.
