Dr Casey Strine will be leading a time of silent prayer to draw nearer to God as we move through the season of Lent.

Lent is a time for stripping things back to the bare essentials in order to focus more fully on God. Silence is a spiritual discipline that has long been used for this purpose, and thus a feature of Lent. For Lent 2023, Rev Dr Casey Strine will be leading a time of silent prayer on the Fridays from Ash Wednesday until Holy Week, allowing you to engage in a discipline of abstention and to draw nearer to God.

These times of silence will follow the outline of the Stations of the Cross. Starting at 12:00 noon and lasting until 12:25 PM in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, each one will be followed by the usual midday Eucharist, to which all are welcome.
