In Luke’s gospel, the birth of Jesus was first proclaimed to lowly shepherds, and he says a lot about the place of the poor in the kingdom of God.

Session 3:  The Holy Spirit, and the importance of praye
Two babies and the Holy Spirit. The comforting and disturbing presence of the Holy Spirit. Jesus as one who prayed, and who also taught us how to pray.

Session 4:  God’s unbounded love for the world
Some of the best-known stories told by Jesus are found in this gospel alone. They emphasise how God’s love is without limit, a major theme for Luke.
