The City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra summer concert tour has come to Sheffield Cathedral!

The City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra is one of the UK's leading independent youth orchestras, now celebrating its 40th anniversary year. CSYO provides valuable orchestral and musical training, develops vital skills such as communication, critical thinking and self-confidence and has helped many members take a first step into a wide range of professions. 

Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7:30pm start.

Gustav Mahler's 5th Symphony. 
‘It is simply an expression of incredible energy’ Mahler said of his fifth symphony. ‘It is a human being in the full light of day.’ The City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra, perform Mahler’s bold and dramatic 5th Symphony in the second of their summer concerts.
