The Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind (SRSB) photo exhibition tells their story of heritage and history.
One of Sheffield’s oldest independent charities, the Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind (SRSB) has been working to support people with sight loss in our city for 163 years. There have been many interesting points throughout the years and different sites around the city.
The free photo and information exhibition at the Cathedral will tell the story of their history which begins in 1860 and takes you on a journey through to modern-day SRSB, as it continues to adapt to meet the requirements of people with sight loss today.
SRSB and RSS provide opportunity, support, friendship and services to people with sight loss in the Sheffield area, helping them to achieve whatever they wish to do and whatever they aspire to be. They currently support over 4,000 people in Sheffield.
