In this Eucharist we celebrate the biblical roots of the ancient custom of using oils in the life of the Church.

At this service we celebrate the biblical roots of the ancient custom of using oils in the life of the Church as we gather with our Bishops, Pete and Sophie, who will bless the oil of catechumens, of the sick and of chrism. We also include the custom widely followed throughout the Anglican Communion, of clergy renewing their ordination vows.
