Join us in welcoming the art of Stephen Martin, 10 portraits capturing 10 people living on the frontline of poverty in Sheffield, including himself.
Each portrait shows the subject with something that represents their economic reality and the dreams and ambitions they would pursue if they were not held back by poverty and unjust systems.
Now returning to Sheffield from their tour as part of the Lets End Poverty campaign, the portraits have inspired support for action to tackle UK poverty.
Come along to experience the paintings and learn about the stories that made them. You'll also hear from local decision-makers and the tour organisers about the impact they've made.
Celebrate with us and get involved in action for change!
Refreshments will be provided.
We invite you to join us at 5:30 pm for Choral Evensong sung by Sheffield Cathedral Choir (open to all). The reception will then begin at 6:15 pm, and you will need to have booked a place to attend this section of the event.
