Philosophy in the City (PinC) is an award-winning outreach project, where student volunteers from the University of Sheffield’s Philosophy department go into schools and other institutions to teach philosophy and to encourage engagement with philosophical issues and ways of thinking.
The Cathedral's Archer Project will be teaming up with PinC to enable student volunteers to run philosophy sessions to help homeless people in the city.
PinC also plan to work with sixth form students and senior citizens at events to be held at the Cathedral.
