On Thursday 14 June at 1.30pm the Funeral of Brendan Ingle will be held at Sheffield Cathedral.
Brendan was a towering figure in the world of boxing and made a huge contribution to the City of Sheffield and Yorkshire region.
It is expected that a large congregation will gather to pay their respects. A limited number of seats will be made available for the public between 12.00 noon and 12.30pm, to join invited guests inside the Cathedral. There will also be a large screen on the Cathedral square where members of the public will be able to watch the service.
The Cathedral will be open at 8am for the morning services and close at 9am for final preparations to be made. The Cathedral will reopen at 12.00 for the funeral service.
