Petertide Ordinations 2022

We’re delighted to be hosting the ordinations of deacons and priests in the Diocese of Sheffield!

We will be hosting multiple ordination services on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of June. Those being ordained in the Diocese of Sheffield in 2022 have been confirmed as follows.

The Bishop of Sheffield, Dr Pete Wilcox, will be ordaining 8 priests in Sheffield Cathedral on Saturday, 25 June (4pm):

  • Susan Carol Armstrong - serving in the parishes of All Saints, Rotherham Minster and St Paul, Masbrough (SSM)

  • Jordan Alexander Mark Betts - serving in the parish of Wadsley

  • Christopher Boyd Bishop - serving in the parish of St Peter, Warmsworth

The Bishop of Doncaster, the Rt Revd Sophie Jelley, will be ordaining 16 deacons in Sheffield Cathedral on Sunday, 26 June (10:30am):
