Sheffield Cathedral has a new exhibition about the story of The Good Samaritan.
If scientific data was presented as art, what would it look like? Quite possibly something like this.
After a very successful first showing, the second run of this exhibition opens on 15th August and runs until 29th August 2016 in Old St George’s Chapel.
Telling the stories of seven Sheffield people alive at the time including archive photographs. Stories include a child, a female munitions worker, an officer in the York and Lancaster regiment and a Sheffield Pal.
Over 170 images of Sheffield Photographic Society members' work on display, including award winning and commended images.
From 16 September to 12 December Sheffield Cathedral will be part of Going Public: International Art Collectors in Sheffield.
In preparation for Going Public: International Art Collectors in Sheffield, the Dean of Sheffield, The Very Reverend Peter Bradley, will be leading a workshop called ‘An Evening in the Art Gallery’.
