This year’s light show brings us to heart of the Christmas story, to ‘The Manger’ and the tiny baby nestling in the hay who would change the world.
Join Sheffield Cathedral and Luxmuralis for this special Christmas tradition!
We cannot wait to welcome friends and families to the Cathedral to celebrate Christmas under the spectacular lights.

Adults: £8
Children aged 4-15: £6
Children 3 and under: FREE
Carer’s tickets: £5
Carer must accompany the individual they support. Limited to one carer ticket per booking.
First entry at 5:30pm and last entry at 8:50pm.

Collaboration with Luxmuralis
Luxmuralis is back with a spectacular large-scale light and sound projection artwork transforming the exterior and interior of Sheffield Cathedral this Advent.
Previous shows at Christmas by Luxmuralis have been ‘The Beginning’ in 2021 and ‘The Angels are Coming’ in 2019. Both have been resounding successes, bringing thousands of people to the Cathedral.
Previous work by Luxmuralis has seen imaginative light projections in Germany, Italy, and the UK at various locations including The Bodleian Library, Lichfield Cathedral, Liverpool Cathedral, and St Albans Cathedral.
