On 2nd April this year we were delighted to be visited by Her Majesty The Queen to celebrate The Royal Maundy at Sheffield Cathedral. Honouring 89 men and 89 women for their service to their community and church, Her Majesty distributed the specially minted Maundy money to each recipient - a man and a women for each year of her life.

Now we have all had time to catch our breath, the team have been reflecting on some of the ‘behind the scenes’ moments during a very busy Easter period.

Last Thursday, Queen Elizabeth II visited Sheffield Cathedral to present the Royal Maundy service to 89 men and 89 women in recognition for their service to the local community.
