As we gather in the Cathedral each day for the Eucharist we are reminded that the journey we travel through the liturgy invites us to be open to be transformed by God’s love and grace.
This weekend we welcomed those who were newly ordained deacon and priest in the Diocese of Sheffield. It was a time of much rejoicing and thankfulness; of much prayer and expectation.
In a nutshell, this is the motto of every disciple of Christ and community of Christians. When people are in contact with us, do they experience Christ?

Let us remember the fruits we have bought, because of this suffering - our comradeship, our loyalty, our humility, our courage, our generosity and greatness of heart.
We sometimes hear that sheep are stupid. This is not quite true. Sheep are in some ways quite intelligent animals. The problem is that they are desperately vulnerable animals.
